  Completely marvellous hosts and house! Every moment of staying was pleasure🌺😘

  Such a warm and welcoming old house with super friendly hosts, comfy beds, clean linens, and tons of really useful tips about what to do and where to eat. Every moment of our stay at Paola's place was a total pleasure. Highly recommend it to anyone!

  This house is better to rent when planning trip to Tuscany. For Florence itself it might be located not perfectly, but hosts help with their car. Thank you for your hospitality 🌺

  De ligging is prachtig.. Je bent vlakbij de stad Florence, 10 minuten met de bus, wat ideaal is. De woning is smaakvol ingericht en authentiek Italiaans. Je waant je in een prachtig decor van een film, zo mooi. Je hebt een mooie sfeervolle binnenplaats met verschillende zitplaatsen. De host Paola is vriendelijk, zeer behulpzaam en geeft je goede tips. We hebben genoten. Dankjewel Paola!

  A very relaxing place to stay when exploring Florence and Tuscany, run by great hosts

  Very spacious property, run by an extremely helpful couple who are on-site and able to help with almost anything. It is a short bus/car ride into Florence, but feels like you are more in the countryside with the location and how the property is presented.

  We recently stayed at Borgo Ponte dell'Asse for 9 days and had a truly wonderful experience. The house is genuinely historic and beautifully preserved, with exquisite traditional interiors and an incredible attention to detail. The courtyard is equally charming and feels like a little piece of old Tuscany. We chose this property because, unlike many similar rentals, it has a unique character and authentic atmosphere. The location was ideal for us, as we wanted to combine time in Florence with exploring Tuscany by car. Florence city centre is less than 20 minutes away by car for those who prefer to drive. Alternatively, the tram is about 15 minutes away by car, with a large parking area where we left our car for almost the entire day for just €5. The journey by tram to central Florence takes around 25 minutes. There is also a bus stop just 3 minutes away by car, with convenient parking at the nearby supermarket. Paola and Alessandro are exceptionally kind and thoughtful hosts. They live nearby, which is extremely convenient if you need anything, and their local knowledge and recommendations are invaluable. At the same time, they are very discreet and completely respectful of your privacy — the perfect balance. Paola has also prepared beautiful albums with a wealth of information about Florence and Tuscany the surrounding area, which we found incredibly useful. We would happily stay here again!
