A peaceful countryside stay with beautiful views, a great pool and a relaxing atmosphere

The resort has a very peaceful atmosphere and beautiful countryside views. We stayed in a separate one-storey house with two bedrooms, which gave us a nice sense of privacy. There are also other accommodation types on the property, including two-storey buildings with separate apartments. The pool area is definitely one of the main advantages. Each accommodation has designated sun loungers, which is a very convenient detail during the warmer months. We stayed at the end of September/beginning of October, so it was already much quieter, but I can imagine this being especially useful in high season. The house had its own kitchen, which made the stay more comfortable, especially for a longer visit. There is also a café by the pool where we ate several times. The food was tasty and the prices were very reasonable, without the usual hotel-style markup, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and welcoming, parking was easy and convenient, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The property is also dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The grounds themselves are not very large, but they are well maintained and pleasant. Overall, we really liked the calm atmosphere. It feels like a good place to switch off, enjoy the surroundings and stay away from busy tourist areas. We would definitely consider coming back, especially during the shoulder season when it is quieter and more relaxed.

The road leading to the property is quite winding, with many bends, so this is something to keep in mind if you are uncomfortable with serpentine roads or get carsick easily. There were also quite a lot of mosquitoes, and we had some ants inside the house. In a few less visible places, for example behind the bedside table, there were some cobwebs, so the cleaning could be a little more thorough in those areas. The accommodation itself is fairly simple and not newly renovated. The interior is more traditional and a little dated rather than modern or luxurious. For us this was not really a problem, as we did not expect a brand-new design-style property, and this kind of accommodation is quite common in Italy. The bathroom, however, was quite clean, and overall the house was comfortable enough for the stay.

Een heerlijke vakantie met onze dochter van 1. Aanrader!

Het is een klein maar gezellig resort, wij voelden ons meteen thuis. Het appartement was erg ruim.

Het restaurant was 2 avonden toen wij er precies wilden eten dicht, terwijl ze normaal altijd open zijn. Geen airco.
