Please invest in maintenance
Very promising resort that has clearly seen better days, now run by a very nice team on the ground with very little mgmt support for upkeep and maintenance. The air con worked though. Olly and her family are very nice caretakers and she also helped us organize a last min trip to tangkoko.
No upkeep or maintenance of the property, the bathrooms are equivalent to port-a-potties, its that run down. No wonder we were the only guests staying there.. felt a bit odd at first but the caretakers are nice people and helped us feel ok.

Great jungle view with poor food options
It’s a cute cabin type on a nice jungle property, so good mountain vibe. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a great view of the mountains. The staff were friendly.
The restaurant offering was poor. One thing on the menu for breakfast and dinner and there isn’t much else around as an alternative. The tour was a bit over priced. $100 AUD and lunch wasn’t included, which we added and was pretty average too).

La gentilezza e l’accoglienza di Olly sono stati fondamentali, il posto è davvero carino immerso nella natura e super curato. Ottima anche l’organizzazione per l’avventura al Tangkoko National Park, la nostra guida Danah ci ha fatto vedere tutto quello che potevamo vedere dal tarso al hornobill. Roger è stato presente e ci ha accompagnati nel nostro soggiorno.

Eens maar nooit meer
De tuin is prachtig en goed onderhouden. Je bent binnen 10 minuten met de auto in het centrum. Olly en Roger doen erg hun best om de tours en vervoer te regelen en zijn daarin erg flexibel. Altijd even vriendelijk en niks is teveel gevraagd.
De kamers zijn erg klein. 8 vierkante meter waar twee losse bedden in staan, een tafeltje en een open kast. De deuren sluiten niet goed, ze klemmen en maken daardoor veel herrie. Insecten kruipen makkelijk door de kieren. Tussen onze kamer en alle andere kamers zat een dunne éenlaagse houten wand. Hierdoor erg gehorig. Aan onze andere kant was het toilet. We konden de behoeften van elkaar letterlijk in de pot horen vallen. Toilet en douche niet schoon. Haren en dode gekko’s op de wand geplakt. Vuil rondom de kranen en wasbak. Voor Aziatische begrippen goed beoordeeld, maar als westerling zou ik deze zeker overslaan.
