Beautiful building, but communication was a let down

absolutely gorgeous property - it’s beautifully decorated all throughout. There are great facilities in the shared kitchen and the rooms are just stunning. The colour themes are lovely and very cosy/comfortable. The location is great. It’s within walking distance to everything you need. It was a nice quiet neighbourhood too.

my only drawback was the communication with the staff. twice I asked for the pink room, and I did say if it wasn’t available, then that’s not a problem. My message was never acknowledged. I was given the room next to the pink room, which I believe based on how I booked it, they were the same size. No one else used that room during my stay so it was a bit disappointing to not get it, and, even if there was a reason I couldn’t have it, it would’ve been nice to be told that and why. There was also a power outage during the week, and I had to chase the staff about getting the power in my room back on as well as turning off very loud beeping in a box by the front door that I could hear from my room, which was on the very top floor. I believe I may have been the only one in the whole building during my stay as I didn’t see anybody else.. I would’ve rated this a lot higher if the communication had been better. It hasn’t put me off potentially staying again if I need too because I thought it was good value and again everything else was great, but the communication could’ve been a lot better and has been a real let down. Especially considering the building was not fully booked.
