A wonderful and peaceful stay with excellent hospitality.

I really enjoyed my stay at Box on Clouds. The breakfast was delicious, and the peaceful location made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The host was extremely kind, respectful, and welcoming, and provided us with lots of useful information and recommendations. I truly appreciated the hospitality and would be happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!

I had the best night's sleep at Box on Clouds out of my whole time in Sri Lanka and wished I could have stayed at this little paradise a bit longer. A big comfortable bed and total peace with amazing views. The manager Roshan really looked after me with a great breakfast and also a lovely evening meal. It is ideally located for walks through the tea plantations, and small villages to see the real Sri Lanka and the friendly people. I also went to the nine arch bridge and the secret waterfall both of which are nearby to Box on Clouds. I highly recommend this place.

  Everything was great.

A great place to disconnect from everything

  Incredible views and nice personnel!

It’s a little bit far away from the city, but it was no problem for me since I had a tuk tuk

We really enjoyed our stay at box on clouds! Beautiful nature location, host was always present and helpful, good food and breakfast! Cute dog on the premise :)

The location is a bit far from the center so good to take that into account! The hill is steep so it's hard to drive up with scooter - be prepared to walk up.

We loved our stay, there were 5 of us, so basically we took the whole place. The view is amazing, you are surrounded by a tea plantation. And the staff was very attentive to us. It was a bit tricky to get to the location by car, but the staff gave us very accurate instructions, and we managed to do that by car. easy to get to all attractions in Ella and not in a loud or crowded area at the same time.

the pillows were a bit uncomfortable, too high. but the beds and room temperature at night were good.
