  Great location just the residents are on a power trip

  The location was great. 10 miniute walk to the main centre

  The residence of the building. They turned off our FOB for visitor parking. They did not know there own strata rules. Said you can only park for 3 hours where the by laws state up to 8 hours. All they could have said was no overnight parking allowed. The fact they turned off our access fob meant we were unable to move our car out. Luckily we found another person who was able to let us out.

  Beautiful apartment with potential

  Location and style of the apartment are obvious highlights. Its a beautiful, renovated, spacious apartment, with 2 bathrooms, modern kitchen, laundry, balconies in every room, and 2 TVs. Easy walking distance to town centre, beach, tram etc. 1 parking space.

  Unfortunately it's the smaller details where this place fell short. For very little extra, the property managers could make this amazing, but chose not to. 1) you only get 1 key at collection, and the safe box is at a different location which you need to drive to. We asked for a second key, and they agreed - again collection from the safe box. Given there is a reception and mailbox area onsite, this did not make much sense to us. 2) the car park is good but poorly signed. We drove around and around to find the spot and then how to find the lifts. Once you know, you know. But this was pretty annoying with 4 little ones and luggage in tow. A few signs would go a long way. 3) the kitchen supplies are very scarce. We asked for basics like a grater, a mixing bowl, and a pot and these were declined. 4) the pool was empty at the time of our stay, and we were not notified of this until we arrived at the property. 5) the bedroom doors are weighted and self locking if the knob is turned. There are doorstops, but they slide around on the carpet. Definitely a danger for little fingers/feet so we had to be fully vigilant at all times. One of the kids accidentally locked a bedroom door. Where it got really ridiculous is that neither the property maintenance or management had a key to this door. This forced us to get a locksmith at our own expense ($220!) to get back into an internal bedroom! Thank god our toddler was not stuck inside or this would have been a major emergency. 6) this is not a big deal but the bedding is weird - a couple of flat white sheets (that need to be done up constantly) and a cheap kmart fleece blanket in between. Its fine for warmer months, but would have been nicer to have a proper duvet and a fitted sheet as we were staying over a week. 7) there's a refuse room near the elevators with only one bin. Unclear where the recycling was supposed to go. 8) No beach towels. 9) cheap appliances (e.g.

  Perfect for a relaxing getaway.

  Great location, directly opposite patrolled beach and close to tram stop Cypress Ave. Some excellent eateries within metres. Amazing ocean view. Spacious, very nicely appointed apartment with great facilities in the complex.
