Beautiful hotel with amazing service but be prepared to be overcharged for everything
Amazing service, the staff are super attentive. Food was excellent every night. Some fantastic entertainment during dinner, from great local musicians to acrobats that could rival Cirque du Soleil. Location is great, beach is beautiful and quiet. I highly recommend walking to the rock restaurant during low tide it's stunning. Good water sports facilities, and lovely people working in the dive centre.
Everything is expensive but in particular the prices for certain services like taxis and laundry and daylight robbery. Just because we can afford to splash out on a fancy resort doesn't mean we deserve to get completely ripped off. For example, airport taxi service they charge $85, we organised it ourselves online in 5 minutes for $40 without haggling. Round trip to The Rock was $36, it's literally a 5 minute drive each way. Laundry is $8 per shirt, $4.50 per pair of underwear. What would have been $20 worth of laundry at our previous hotel in Stone Town would have cost $100 here. We washed our clothes by hand in the sink because we refused to pay such ridiculous rates on principle.

Heel goed team en zeer vriendelijke mensen die alles voor jou doen in het mogelijke
De ligging , vriendelijk personeel , zeer grote, hoge ,goede bedden .goede airco .lekker eten
Zeer kleine badkamer , we hadden tuin kamer omdat ik geen trappen kan doen voor de suites .suites blijkbaar groter .kamer voor ons te donker .
