    The Cabin was perfect for us, it was clean, warm and had everything we needed. Brett is a great host too, we will be back.

    Nice comfortable and relaxing place to stay

    Nice location - close to main town of Kingscote. Comfortable and relaxing place to stay

    The microwave had some rust on the inside at the bottom so we didn't want to use it. The kettle was a bit unclean on the inside.

    ...the place gave us that feeling of serenity

    Beautiful cabin, starry skies and wonderful host -- Brett made sure we have what we need and even help us get the bonfire going. Amazing experience to connect with nature.

    Delightful rural setting

    The location is peaceful and rural yet convenient to town by car. The cottage is cozy and delightfully rustic.set in a small grassed paddock surrounded by native trees and some wallabies present at nightfall.

    Brett’s Rest was the perfect place to return to after a day of exploring the island.

    Brett was so friendly and helpful. The cabin was in a very peaceful location. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The tv had every streaming channel you could wish for. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit where the wood was provided. Brett’s rest is in a great location to venture out and explore Kangaroo Island.
