Stay was ruined by current Operations Manager
My husband and I were celebrating a special birthday as well as our anniversary. I told the hotel about this in advance, but they did nothing to recognise it which was disappointing. Our A/C unit was broken so we had a very uncomfortable first night, as the staff told us they would not be able to get it fixed until the following day. The operations manager promised us a partial refund when we asked for compensation due to the broken A/C, then completely cut off all communication with us. We had to keep chasing her and sent numerous emails to her, all of which were completely ignored by her. It took almost a month for us to receive out promised refund, and it only got resolved because i contacted the company who owns the hotel, who then put me in contact with their director of hospitality who has to sort it out for me. It was a very stressful time of having to constantly fight for our promised refund. A total lack of decency and professionalism was demonstrated by the operations manager, which overshadowed our entire experience. For someone in a managerial position to completely ignore a guest, particularly after promising to provide them with a refund, shows severe rudeness and no care for guests. I have never experienced such poor treatment from an operations manager in any other hotel. Very disappointing.

Disappointing
Beautiful area
Most everything didn’t work - télévision system was out, pool and jacuzzi were undergoing service but it was not announced at the time of booking, games in arcade not functioning. We happened to be here on Monday when both restaurant and bar are closed - again not announced. And unfortunately, despite very low occupancy, the room just above us had barking dogs and heavy footed guests…
