Great spot for a first time family visit to Venice
The location was perfect for our family having our first visit to Venice. Close to St Marks and in a landmark area, the space was a fabulous retreat after busy and hot days exploring. It was super hot early September and the air conditioning, beds and living space met our expectations for a lovely stay. The cafe right opposite the front entrance looked after us with perfect morning coffees and croissants. We also enjoyed the people watching :)
Spare linen/covered pillows and adequate toilet paper could have been supplied but this didn't affect the quality of our stay- what an amazing place to be based in the incredible Venice! *agree with other reviews regarding the usability of the kitchen and the rubbish/recycling requirements on departure.

Great location, great apartment with a few shortcomings
Loved the location. As central as anyone can be in Venice. The views of The Bridge of Sighs were amazing, as were the views of passing gondolas and crowds of tourists on the Ponte Canonica from the living room windows. The apartment was clean. We liked the well modernised bathrooms and the spacious living room.. could have done with an extra sofa. The kitchen is compact and works fine for reheating food and preparing snacks, but in a restaurant filled area, no problems. For those who need to know, there are 23 steps from the street door to the apartment.
There is only one bedside table and lamp for six bedsides in an apartment marketed as luxury’. The washing machine came with no how to use instructions, and the buttons and dials made little sense to us. Guests are also required to experience the Venetian waste disposal and recycling system on their final day by taking those materials to a waste and recycling boat a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Not welcome when you have early departure arrangements and certainly not in keeping with a luxury” listing.

Host cancel on us the day before because A/C stopped working at the property so I can’t really provide any feedback.
