    Beautiful flat, wonderful host- shame about the adjacent building works.

    The property was very clean, comfortable, well situated and well maintained. The host was most attentive and responded immediately to our queries. Our flights were delayed and the host accommodated delivery of keys just before midnight. The host also made up the extra sofa bed as requested.

    This would have been PERFECT had it not been for the MAJOR building works (JCB , loud drilling and digging) happening in the plot next door which started at 7am continuously until 10am Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning. It was impossible to sleep or even talk inside the flat. There was a beautiful terrace/ balcony area in the flat which we couldn’t use because of the noise. We went for a family wedding returning late at night as would be expected but were unable to sleep because of the major building work. While we booked the accommodation many months before our short trip, I believe we should have been warned about this.

    Schöne Wohnung - wenn kein Baustellenlärm ist

    Gute Lage, sehr sauber, schöne Terasse, freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.

    Parkplatzsuche war bei Ankunft (Freitag abends) nicht ganz einfach. Am Samstag wurden wir um 7:30 Uhr (gefühlt 6:30 Uhr wegen der Zeitumstellung; Ankunft aus Deutschland am Vorabend) durch einen ohrenbetäubenden anhaltenden Baustellenlärm aus dem Schlaf gerissen. Wir haben Kaffee getrunken (vielen Dank für die Bereitstellung in der auch sonst gut ausgestatteten Wohnung), gepackt und sind vor dem Lärm geflüchtet. Den Vermieter trifft keine Schuld, so dass diese Tatbestand nicht in die Bewertung eingeflossen ist.
