    Thanx! It is really just such a nice and quiet appartment. We enjoyed it much as well as Bern and its surroundings. Nice hike on the Gurten and view on the Alps from the Münster and bundesterrasse, marvellous Paul Klee museum. The bakery next door😉. Nice to have met you Rob with the tales of the history of the house!

    It was amazing!

    We loved everything! It was a beautiful space, the beds were amazing - even the couch bed! The location could not be beat. Quiet yet close to many restaurants and local sites. Would stay here again without question!

    The stairs might be a challenge for some, particularly if you have a lot of luggage.

    Be careful

    The hotel is indeed located in a beautiful, historic building just as promised, but it might not be for everyone. First of all, the bathroom and kitchen are not located inside the apartment unit itself; you have to step out into the building hallway and cross over to access them. If you don’t mind this setup, it’s a truly magnificent experience! Plus, there’s one of Bern’s famous, historic bakeries right downstairs, which means the entire place is constantly overwhelmed by a heavy smell of dough all day long. However, we did have a pretty upsetting incident during our stay. When going to the restroom in the dark after midnight, we encountered a cockroach. Unfortunately, historic buildings can bring these kinds of surprises along with them. Overall, a unique experience with its own quirks.
