House was very well presented, beds are unbelievably comfortable and it was within walking distance of the sports event we were attending
The neighbour is rather miserable but that is not the fault of the owners of this property

Did the job but house could do with a revamp.
The property was good, the kitchen was nice and big which I liked. Nice to cook in there. Nice that the bedrooms had a tv in each. The kids loved that. Garden was a good size and kids enjoyed playing in there. We didn’t spend much time at the house so it’s was nice enough, did the job. Location was great and didn’t take too long to get to the places we wanted to go to. There was an Aldi right around the corner from the house as well so that was good. Although we didn’t need to use it, if we needed anything we knew we could just walk down and get it from there.
House could use a very deep clean and revamp. Fans in the living room and second bedroom were extremely dusty so didn’t put them on in even though it was an incredibly hot weekend. Sofa looks worse for wear like it is about to go any day now. Might be due for a replacement. There was also pistachio shells, pens and Lego in between the sofa cushions. The rug in the living room smelled and was quite dirty. Could do with a wash or replacement. House could do with a repaint, wall in third bedroom right by the bed was dirty with stains on. Saw underwear with a pad on top of the built in washing machine.🤢 Gummy’s stuck on top of the fridge handle. Mattresses were full of stains. Couple of chairs were rickety and seemed like they could break at any moment, especially if leaned on too much. Which is nerve wracking when you’ve paid a damage deposit but there’s a lot of items that seem like they’re going to break any second, like the sofa and the dining chairs. Sent the refundable deposit by PayPal as per the instructions and owner tried to return less of my deposit than I sent. As he was charged a fee for having a business PayPal account and kept stating it was my fee. Even though it wasn’t and PayPal confirmed it wasn’t my fee so he should’ve sent the full amount back to me but didn’t. When I spoke to the owner about this he was quite rude and didn’t help at all. Which would’ve put me out of pocket if PayPal hadn’t sorted it. There was only one battery in downstairs remote, had to get one battery from the upstairs remote (room with two double beds) and put in downstairs remote so we could watch it. Glass table in living room by sofa already broken - one leg missing. Potential hazard if it falls. And if falls with someone staying there it could potentially lose them their deposit. Same as with the chairs and sofa. Could stock a fish slice in the kitchen as that would be very useful when cooking breakfast.
