Disgusting property not fit for purpose as a family holiday retreat

Nothing liked, property dirty with more than just minor wear and tear.

Raffia entrance mat a trip hazard. Place smelt musty and was very grubby. My daughter really did not want to stay it was supposed to be a birthday treat for her. Lots of damage to the interior and numerous health and safety issues. Rusty nail in wall, flooring uneven and water coming through the floor in the conservatory if you could call it that. Out house for airing clothes had a window door that could easily have come out. Dogs poo in the garden. Soiled cot mattress with no bedding. No toilet paper, watered down washing up liquid. Curtains in one bedroom too short, so there was no point in them being blackout and en suite bedroom curtains hanging off the rail. Dog hairs on sofas dried up food on high chair. Poo on toilet brush.

Disappointing stay due to oven not working 4 days and planned to cook for 6 adults.

Nice house in a nice area.

Oven did NOT work. Kitchen door did NOT open was locked and no key so poor ventilation in kitchen. Had to stay in waiting for handyman who were unable to fix it. Too much time lost on dealing with host trying to resolve. En suite bathroom sink does NOT drain properly.

    Location, size, garden

Just felt a little like bot much upkeep done to the place especially in garden and outside.

The bbq facility made the home stand out as it isnt usually avaliable in other holiday houses which made our stay extra memorable. The interior design of the house was immaculate and the theme of this warm beach house reacurred throughout the house in the rooms, kitchen and even restrooms which made an even more positive lasting experience for us.

The shower system was quite confusing i suggest there be some sort of guidance for the guests. Another discomfort we had was the comforters and the beds overall which weren't good quality and as comforting as the whole atmosphere of the house.

Family home with sea view and easy access to the coast

The kitchen was well equipped , great long table in dining area with bench seating and 2 chairs and the bedlinen was fresh and clean. 2 bathrooms ( 1 was ensuite) The property does have a Garden . Gail sent us a message to check all was ok.

We are a tall family in our 60's the sofas were very low and soft so not quite right for us , The garden was overgrown but we visited in December so maybe its better in the summer we could not find an outside light .
