A welcoming, cosy and excellently located stay
Very central, very comfortable, got upgraded from twin room I had booked to the Garden Suite, which was massive and had a kitchen! Very friendly staff, very kind. Loved being able to have a bath, the main reason I booked there, just to have a quiet, relaxing night away to myself.
A few minor things that didn’t really impact on the stay overall. While I loved the suite I was upgraded to, so much space!, the kitchen in it would benefit from a bit of a do over. It’s pretty dated. The top oven doesn’t work but the bottom smaller one did, however had not been cleaned thoroughly since the last use. Also the drawers and cupboards could do with a bit more of a clean. Noise from chats at reception is audible in this suite. If people were gathering in the lobby this would be a disturbance. The TV was stuck on mute, this was resolved after finding the plug behind it and plugging it out and back in again to reset the TV. Seems to be a known issue with the TVs there. Also, and this is a bug bear I have with so many places I stay all over Ireland and abroad, mugs for tea. So many of us love a good cup of tea, why are there no proper sized mugs, that are comfy to hold? I did ask for a mug and the lovely receptionist did her best, an americano coffee mug was the next best thing and infinitely better than a little cup.

A++++ stay. Definitely recommend. Great location!
Great location. Clean and spacious rooms. Property was gorgeous. Easy check-in and check-out. Close to all the restaurants. Great recommendations from staff and staff were extremely friendly.
The breakfast wasn’t very good for the money paid.
