  The place had the potential to be a really nice experience. The room was small and very basic, but we booked this stay mainly for the wine tasting. It’s a small, family-run winery. Unfortunately, the lack of clarity around prices left me both disappointed and uncomfortable. Dinner costs 100 GEL per person, and wine with dinner (presented as a “wine tasting”) is an additional 35–45 GEL per person. Compared to prices elsewhere in Georgia, this felt significantly overpriced. On top of that, the brothers running the place don’t speak English, so unfortunately we didn’t learn much from them about the wines or the winery itself. It’s a pity, because the location and concept are lovely – with more transparency it could have been much more enjoyable. As it was, I just wanted to leave, and I would not return.

  Et lille hyggelig guest house. Med mulighed for smagsprøver på deres dejlige Georgiske vine og chacha ad libitum. Specielt skal fremhæves den lækre cognac de laver. Vi blev mødt med åbne arme af værten, som er sjov og stolt af sine vine. Resten af personalet er også meget afslappet og søde. Et dejligt værelse med en rigtig god seng. Wifi fungerer upåklageligt. Der er p plads på stedet. Ps: Vær obs på at der er en del trapper op til værelset, og restaurant. Her kommer vi gerne tilbage igen.

  Klassische Touristenfalle

  Sauberes grosses Zimmer Parkplatz im Innenhof freundliche Leute

  Wir wurden von den freundlichen Leuten gefragt ob wir uns die Weinfelder anschauen und Weintrauben ernten möchten klar doch. Auf Kosten wurden wir nicht hingewiesen. Zu den 65 Gel fürs Zimmer kamen dann Kosten für Frühstück. Abendessen Weinführung. "Ernte" Weinprobe usw und es belief sich auf insgesamt knapp 600 (!) Gel für 2 Personen.
