    Amazing breakfast, great location and excellent staff.

    Booked for a 2 night stay whilst visiting friends. Perfect location with reduced car parking fee using voucher issued by hotel. Great choice at breakfast and good home cooked food. Small hotel with lovely decor and good quality furnishings in bedroom. Very comfortable bed! Had a great couple of nights sleep. Will definitely return.

    Perfect weekend away

    We had a lovely weekend away and our stay at Browns completed the experience. Our room was cosy, bed comfy, towels were warmed, all the staff were welcoming. We would highly recommend staying here and will definetely return.

    Clearly understaffed and overpriced but no specific issues. Breakfast service was slow but to be expected as one person seems to do everything ie reception, the bar and breakfast service. Didn’t see any other staff. Location is central to the town but no parking.

    This is a lovely hotel, offering parking at a nearby car park for £8 per day, and only a 5 minute walk to the ferries to Greenways, a cruise along the River Dart and the Devon Steam Railway. The staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming on arrival. The rooms are clean and spacious, with unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits. The beds are comfy and also there are good hot showers. We had a meal there on our first evening and it was excellent - freshly cooked, local ingredients. The breakfasts each morning were superb - a great choice, table service and everything that you could want was provided. We recommend this hotel highly and will stay there again on our return to Dartmouth.
