  very charming

  Wendy and John have a small paradise on the hill "of light". Nicely decorated rooms, super clean, new bathrooms, zero wear and tear, top English breakfast. And best: a very special, warm and welcoming hospitality :-)

  Our Most Disappointing Bed & Breakfast Experience Unfortunately, this was the worst Bed & Breakfast experience we have had. On arrival, John welcomed us politely, helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room upstairs. The room was very clean and nicely arranged. However, the balcony view did not match the mountain view advertised in the listing. The main problem was the wasp infestation. John mentioned that several treatments had already been carried out to eliminate the wasps. However, when we went onto the balcony, we could still see numerous wasps. We even noticed them entering a hole in the roof of the building. We had booked a seven-night stay, and the thought of being unable to use the balcony or safely leave the door open was very concerning. We have videos showing the situation. The following morning, we raised our concerns with John. Instead of first discussing a reasonable solution with us, he suggested that we contact Booking.com to find alternative accommodation. We were extremely disappointed by this response, as we believed it was the host’s responsibility to help resolve a problem affecting our stay. Eventually, we agreed to move to another room. Unfortunately, after raising our concerns, John's attitude towards us changed noticeably. He became distant, his conversations were short and unfriendly, and he often avoided interacting with us. Even our polite greetings and messages seemed to be ignored. On our final morning, we were also disappointed to find that the fruit served at breakfast appeared to be old, mouldy and unsuitable for consumption. We have a photograph documenting this. Although the initial welcome and the cleanliness of the first room were positive, these things could not make up for the overall experience. A good host should be willing to listen to legitimate concerns and address them professionally, without making guests feel unwelcome for speaking up.

  One of the best B and B’s we have used.

  High quality premises set in a quiet location with stunning views. The room was clean, tidy and well equipped. The breakfast was superb and the host made us very welcome. It was so good we will use it again. A bonus was the availability of EV charge point.

  Eine rundum perfekte Unterkunft ❤️

  Die Lage ist hervorragend: ruhig und idyllisch auf einem Hügel im Grünen gelegen und trotzdem ganz in der Nähe von Llandudno und vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön, neu ausgestattet und mit sehr hochwertigem Mobiliar im typisch britischen Stil eingerichtet. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch die schöne Holzterrasse mit Blick in den Garten. Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen ein Highlight: sehr lecker, abwechslungsreich und frisch zubereitet. Bereits am Vorabend konnte man seine Wünsche äußern. Das Full Breakfast war außergewöhnlich gut, und dazu gab es jeden Morgen eine frische Fruchtbowl. Das Allerbesonderste an unserem Aufenthalt waren aber unsere Gastgeber Wendy, John und Frieda. Wir haben noch nie so herzliche, liebe und unkomplizierte Gastgeber erlebt. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an unglaublich willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Wir sind als Gäste gekommen und als Freunde gegangen. ❤️ Für uns war wirklich alles rundum perfekt und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Eine absolute Herzensunterkunft!
