    Appropriate cottage for a walking holiday

    Attractive cottage in excellent location. Very well equipped kitchen with superb fridge/freezer, good cooker and microwave. Really good shower and comfortable bed. Excellent bus services past the door so we could forget the car and parking.

    Storage heaters are a pain and I would be reluctant to stay here in winter. Low door between kitchen and sitting room - I returned bloodied but unbowed!

    Charming, well-equipped base in a fantastic location.

    Wonderful garden, for us and the dog! - plenty of shade and places to sit on an exceptionally hot week! Helpful information about local walks and places to eat, which we enjoyed. Good showers.

    I did crack my head a few times in the low passageway into the kitchen, but not for lack of warnings - part of the charm of an old cottage we realise!

    Had a great time in lovely cottage in amazing location.

    Great location, very well equipped comfortable home. Hourly bus at bottom of the track to Pen y Pass and lots more places. Snowdon and Tryfan nearby. Fun scrambling on Moel Siabod which can walk to from the house. Lots of walk guides, puzzles and games provided as well as bin bags, washing up liquid etc Pub in walking distance (need to book for meals sometimes at weekends).

    Local cafe has shut down. There's another white cottage, also number 1, close by on the same track. We got confused and thought this was our place when we first arrived. This was our error not the instructions.
