  Well appointed, comfortable, peaceful and great location

  The studio is quite well appointed and has that designer look and feel. The Queens sized bed was comfortable and the studio is in a great location, just a short walk to town. It has a beautiful bathroom with an outdoor bath. The shower is also fully exposed to the outdoors but does have a full wrap around curtain if you are worried someone might see you. Paula was a very accommodating host and there were a lot of nice touches like local made biscuits, milk and cold drinks in the fridge. They even had bandaids and shaving cream (and a whole bunch of stuff) in the bathroom cabinet. There was also Epsom bath salt supplied. These were all included at no extra charge which was a nice surprise. A lot of thought has gone in to making it a home away from home. It was also very quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds. It has aircon and a ceiling fan, an electric blind on the high light windows and block out curtains so you can make it reasonably dark. There is a full kitchen with hotplates, microwave / convection oven, all the pots and pans, crockery & cutlery if you want to cook your own meals. We didn't bother as there are so many good restaurants within walking distance. It's a great home away from home.

  This is a minor gripe in the scheme of things, but the TV is a bit small and very cumbersome. It's on a wheel out stand and is hidden in a closet. You have to wheel it out and plug in the antenna, power and internet. We found the cables are a bit short. If you like to watch telly in bed it doesn't quite reach to the middle of the bed. So, you have to have it off to one side. It also makes the room feel a bit cluttered and wheeling it out past the bed is awkward as it's a tight fit between the bed and the table. It just wasn't the lux feel that the rest of the place had. It's also a bit old school and only had iview, Netflix & Prime, the other free to air channel apps were not listed, although it had all the free to air channels available to watch live. We had a problem with Wi-Fi, so couldn't use any of the streaming. The only other dislike was the feet on the bed stick out more than I realised (hidden by the doona) and I hit my feet on the steel legs several times, most likely because there wasn't much space between where we positioned the TV and the bed. I think they need to come up with a better TV solution. The bed is also only a Queen. we would much prefer a King, but I suspect this is not possible as it appears to be a Murphy bed and fits between the custom joinery. Overall, there wasn't much to complain about!

  A perfect little piece of paradise tucked away but still within walking distance to the heart of Byron. Our own little private sanctuary to completely rest and relax.

  Great location, easy stroll to shops. Paula was a great communicator. Comfortable bed and bathroom was fascinating.

  Excellent location, Paula had thought of everything and made it very homely. Very well designed, loved the bathroom.

  The little personal touches - fresh flowers, nice smelling oil burners, fresh rose petals for the beautiful outdoor bath and lovely linen and crockery.
