    The most lovely cottage, beautiful room, friendly host and amazing food!

    The host is amazing - so kind, so friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful, and the breakfast was unbelievable - so many different options! We will definitely be staying here again!

    All in all an excellent place with such a kind host. Would definitely recommend and visit again

    The host was extremely nice, caring and friendly. The house and rooms were cosy and the food was very nice. The thoughtfulness and effort that went into everything from the room decorations to the food was outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay here.

    Lovely mid week break

    Tarquina warmly welcomed me when I arrived. Bumbleberry Cottage is in a great, peaceful location and a good base for exploring the Wirral, Chester, Cheshire Oaks, Wrexham, and more. The room was spotlessly clean, with a lovely walk-in shower in the en-suite. There were hot drink making facilities and milk in the fridge. Tarquina also gave us home baked treats every evening, which were delicious. The breakfast was amazing; continental with lots of cold cuts and cheese, croissant, pain au chocolate, and toast. Pots with layers of fruit, yoghurt, and granola. The traditional cooked breakfast option looked great, too. Tarquina happily also offers a selection of evening meals. I had lasagne, salad, and garlic bread, which was delicious. There is a wonderful pub about 15 mins walk from the property and several other suggestions made in the guest information pack.

    The host went above and beyond in all areas! Incredibly attentive. Accommodation was cosy, clean and very comfortable. I cannot fault the level of customer service. I will be back!
