  Great escape making you feel like part of a family

  Loved our stay at Cha Cha Nature resort, staff was incredibly welcoming and we felt like a part of the family. Special thanks to Reiko which was always a delight to talk to and Agnes which managed everything to perfection (and also cooked the best food in our whole trip across Sulawesi.

  A piece of heaven, right here on earth!

  An absolutely exceptional place to take a break from the hum-drum of life. Reiko and her staff are absolutely superstars, going out of their way to make one's stay as enjoyable as possible. Arrangements were perfect, and they seamlessly arranged 4 trips for snorkeling in one of the most beautiful and pristine places on earth. The boating team went out of their way to give us the most incredible snorkeling experience, and the dolphin sightings and swimming with our boat was absolutely unforgettable. What an experience - we will definitely be back! The team prepared the most amazing food, and service all round was out of this world! One of the best island holidays we ever had!

  A welcoming home in paradise, where we wished we could stay for much longer.

  We made a last-minute decision to visit Bunaken Island and decided to stay at Cha Cha after looking at its location and reviews. Little did we know, our stay at Cha Cha quickly became our favourite vacation. Bunaken has beautiful, pristine, vibrant reefs, and snorkeling was accessible at the resort’s beach. But what made the stay at Cha Cha exceptional was the hospitality. Agnes, the manager and chef, was a lovely person. We enjoyed many conversations with her and her amazing food. We looked forward to every dinner; you can taste the passion in her cooking. Cindy's Iced milk coffee hit the spot on a hot, sunny afternoon, post-lunch. Mul, the snorkeling guide, was so patient, even when one of us had thalassophobia and was anxious about snorkeling, which was helpful in facing the fear. The extremely friendly dogs, Luna and Jessie, completed the stay by accompanying us on walks and swims alongside the beach. Reiko was very helpful from the start of the booking, answering our questions and making us feel welcome right from the start. We were glad we got to meet her the day we left. We were sad to leave Cha Cha, but we look forward to returning in the future, and we strongly feel that a Bunaken visit for us means a visit to Cha Cha by default.

  Sometimes there were power cuts on the island at night, which made it difficult to fall asleep, but this is beyond the resort's control. However, they did manage with generators for some hours and rechargeable standing fans in the room.

  Lovely people, nice house reef

  The best thing about Bunaken Cha Cha is the staff. They are utterly delightful. The house reef has nice snorkelling. There are two dogs at Cha Cha, they are very playful and good when you miss your own dog. The food was very good too.

  There are many steps to walk up and down, this is hard with arthritic knees. The resort is a lot more basic than the price would suggest.

  Fantastic location at Bunaken and special thanks to the host team for the warm welcome and sharing experiences. The food by Agnes was also a highlight of our stay.
