Probably expected more for the price

    Location, size and cleanliness

Not great value for money. 10 am check out with such a long list of cleaning to do for the hosts is too early. I’ve not had to do so much cleaning at a Lake Bennett property before. Sweep and mop the entire house amongst other duties. I also asked specifically about gas for the BBQ and we were left with an empty bottle. Not handy when you start to cook dinner and 2 mins later…no more gas for the entire weekend. No appliances…every other house at Lake Bennett I’ve stayed in offers coffee machine/slow cooker/blender etc. This one had nothing and for the price you pay you’d expect something. TV could not be used at all as satellite cables etc were missing. We wanted to relax and watch both the test and Bledisloe and could not do so. It was also completely disconnected from the wifi so we couldn’t sign into our own Kayo etc.

    Great location

Water pooling in the showers and heavy mineral build up on the shower head causing blockage
