    Heavenly view & peacefulness

    We were glad to choose this cozy apartment for our Verzasca Valley trip, the climb up the mountain with our car was worth it, just because we really liked the peaceful view on the lake and the church right next to the apartment as well. Also we were very pleased to have this portable mobile wifi provided by the hosts, so we had internet along our trip in the valley. Thank you very much and would be glad to come back later again.

    Great jumping off point for a Ticino trekking weekend

    The view is amazing. Unbeatable. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and clean. It’s also a nice starting point for many trekking routes (up from Locarno, up the neighboring mountains or up the Verzasca valley). Easy parking. Great communication with the owners… fast, friendly, supportive.

    We knew before that the next-building-over church tower would be loud (check the pictures), so weren’t surprised when we got woken up at 7am. The mattresses could be better. Watchout: The bus route from Mergoscia goes through Locarno/Tenero-Contra and is not connected to the Verzasca valley bus line.

    Appartamento molto bello, vista mozzafiato, parcheggio gratuito.

    Purtroppo, il campanile della chiesa che si trova a pochi metri dalle finestre e dal balcone, comincia a suonare le campane già alle 7 del mattino in settimana, e lo fa regolarmente e piuttosto frequentemente. Volume molto alto! Per noi i tappi per le orecchie sono stati indispensabili per dormire senza essere svegliati.

    Ruhige Lage, schöne Aussicht, saubere und neue Ausstattung. Perfekte Anbindung an den stündlich nach Locarno fahrenden Bus. Parkplatz in erreichbarer Nähe. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.
