    We had a wonderful stay in Venice! The accommodation was spacious, very clean, and ideally located. Having a supermarket nearby was an added bonus, making everything very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this place!

    The lighting in the apartment was rather dim, making some areas feel a bit dark. Additionally, the waste disposal point was about a five-minute walk away, which was somewhat inconvenient.

    Misleading listing, key collection nowhere near apartment, broken elevator, and mouldy bathroom.

    The advertisement claims the building has a working elevator, but, according to previous reviews, and as we found out, is out of order. My partner has an internal defibrillator, and we specifically booked this place for medical accessibility. Instead, we were forced to drag heavy luggage up the stairs, which was a safety risk. Furthermore, key collection is not at the property. We had to travel all the way to a lockbox in a completely different district (Santa Croce) with our luggage, and then navigate through Venice to the apartment in San Marco. This was unexpected as the property is advertised as being in one area with no clear indication that the keys are held and collected in a distant location. Inside, the keys stuck in the entry lock, which took some manoeuvring to remove. The washing machine broke mid-wash, forcing me to hand-rinse clothes. The bathroom has active mould in the shower and paint peeling off the ceiling. The dishwasher had a sour, musty smell which required a thorough cycle run prior to being used.The host, Wonderful Italy, is fully aware of most of these issues from previous reviews but appears to ignore them, neither fixing them nor updating their listing. Booking.com customer service is currently investigating. What should have been a wonderful stay was extremely disappointing.

    Comfortable modern apartment in excellent location!

    A beautiful modern apartment located in a quiet lane about 20 m from the Canal Grande and halfway between Piazza San Marco and Rialto bridge — it couldn’t be any more central, yet pleasantly quiet. There is a decent sized Despar market just around the corner. The building has a shared courtyard with a gate which feels very safe. There is even a lift.

    The only inconvenience is picking up the key from their office near the train station (and dragging the suitcase across several bridges).
