An amazing property! The location is indeed moments from St Mark’s Square and the Cathedral. I was met on arrival by Paolo under the large clock tower nearby, which was easy to find. The apartment is clean, spacious and tastefully decorated and is well equipped throughout. The washing machine and dishwasher were very useful. There are many restaurants and bars nearby and convenience stores just a few minutes away. For a property so close to the action it was surprisingly quiet at night. Taking rubbish to the recycling point was an easy 2 minute walk. I would certainly choose to stay here again and would recommend it to my friends.
There were no negatives. As some other reviews have pointed out, there are 30 stairs up to the second floor where the apartment is located. People with mobility difficulties may prefer to reside in a hotel with an elevator, but for the reasonably able bodied there would be no problem here and for me it was perfect.
