    An excellent stay!

    Very nice hotel. My room was a little tight, but not a big deal. I was very comfortable in it. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and able to answer all my questions and provide great advice for getting around the city. A substantial buffet breakfast was included every morning - a good mix of European and American breakfast foods and beverages. It was done in 1-hour "guest shifts" - you let the front desk know the night before what time you would prefer and they make sure they can accommodate everyone at that time. There is a canal 2 feet outside the front door, which I loved, just remember how close you are to the water when exiting :) The hotel is not on a busy street/canal, so it's quiet, but the main street and all you might need (restaurants, cafes, shops, etc.) is a 1-minute walk across a nearby bridge.

    Altes Hotel .. sieht man teilweise an den Möbeln ..
