Not for us
Cabin was okay, something weird going on with the floor, floor is higher at the sink area than the rest of the kitchen? Cabin was fully equiped with what you need though for a weekend away.
How close all the cabins are to each other. We have stayed in a few places in cabins and none have been that close to each other. We arrived around 4pm, the couple behind us arrived later and quickly started making a racket ripping out the laminate flooring and throwing it from the decking on the grass outside their cabin. No regard to how much noiae this was creating. That went on a few hours. Following morning at 7.20am he started picking it all up off the grass and throwing it in his car. Honestly, 7.20am! This went on a while then another man turned up with an electric saw and then they proceeded to fit new flooring. Sawing, banging etc the whole morning, we managed to get out as the weather improved some around lunch time and to get some peace given the noise!! Went away for a break to have had that going on right outside the rear window of the cabin, couldn't believe it. I understand jobs need to be done at the cabins but you dont expect to pay money for a quiet weekend to have to deal with that.

Highly recommended for the exploration of Snowdonia!
Very nice cabin with a great location (a perfect base for Snowdonia trips) and a magnificent view. The cabin is small and gets very hot during sunny days, but this was expected for the price. Yet, it was well-equipped, nicely organized, comfortable, and pleasant. Very helpful host, ready to share local hints. Thank you! Highly recommended!
The Wi-Fi is practically useless. It is very unstable, with speeds ranging from non-existent to only fast enough to load basic text articles. Social media and YouTube are impossible, and it makes planning trips for the next day very difficult. Mobile data is also limited due to poor cell reception in the area, so keep that in mind.

Relaxing
Lovely log cabin on a lovely quiet site. Clean and had everything needed. Ideal as our base for a few days. Park for the kids. Hosts had games for kids use at the property. Close to various walks and nice places to eat (the bryn arms nearby or if travelling near porthmadog the goat pub). Dog park nearby to let the dogs off. Ideal being able to take the dogs with us. Arrival easy with code to get key into property. Host contactable if any concerns.
