Great spot to disconnect
Great little stand alone cabin with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The fireplace was the highlight for me and I probably burned more firewood than most but what an enjoyable experience. Really enjoyed my stay here. The nights were cool and quiet and sitting outside staring at the stars is quite the delight. It was quiet enough to relax but close enough to other offerings that I didn’t feel isolated. I arrived on a motorcycle so it was easy to get back and forth to town however, if you wanted to you could stay here and have most what you need within walking distance. There’s a temazcal just a cpl properties over and the further down the road you walk you find more and more. There’s a nice modern hotel that offers cafe/restaurant/mezcaleria service as well as a small store on property. There’s are holistic practice places further up the road and can definitely recommend La Casita Verde just a short 10 min walk further up the road. Silvia is a gem

Very clean and cosy. Also were provided with lots of wood for the fire which definitely was needed as it was cold!
No hand towel, kitchen very basic and close to the main road we were woken up by logging trucks every night. Terrible flat pillows.
