A comfortable place from which to explore Islay
Location was excellent and the sun room was a highlight with a beautiful view and lots of sunlight.
The shower was very small. We would have enjoyed an open fire as per the listing instructions but it was unable to be used due to a chimney issue which we didn’t know about until we were at the property.

The location was central to explore the island. The kitchen was well equipped. The sun room had beautiful sunrises. We could fish close to the pier. We also cooked fresh seafood, which was a bonus! We would stay again. We saw seals in Portnahaven one evening too. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A wonderful first visit to beautiful Islay in a lovely, welcoming Apartment.
The apartment was very sweet and comfortable, with a lovely view and garden. The children enjoyed looking out for Hector of a morning! The beds were comfortable, linen and towels nice, kitchen had everything you needed, lounge and sunroom were very homely. Information was readily available, along with suggestions of where is good to go (and Mary very helpful via email - thank you!)! It was a lovely few days with our young children in the Apartment - lots of lovely memories made!
The upstairs room felt a little tired and dark, although very sweet and for me it felt like something from my childhood! That said, the children loved playing with the toys & books in the toy box, and loved the little window with a view!

Cosy, comfortable and very relaxing stay
Traditionally cosy stay. Walked into a big farmhouse style kitchen and gorgeous sunroom with roses cut from the garden. Big, comfortable chairs and a great selection of books in the living room. The Wi-Fi is good, but you will want to log off and recharge. A very relaxing week here.
