We enjoyed it so much that I’m sure we may return in the future.
The food was so well cooked & presented. The staff were friendly, jolly & courteous. The dining room was very well set out & attractive. The room was clean - the bathroom was excellent too.
Absolutely nothing but I would probably go for a sea view if we returned - which is highly likely. We were in a room with a castle view on the side of the hotel which was fine but a little bit tight for moving around.

Excellent restaurant but hotel needs a ‘glow up’.
Location was excellent. The restaurant is excellent and the food exceptional. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Decor was dated and the whole place seems a little ‘tired. Rooms are very basic for the price. Paid for the parking behind the hotel but was a little surprised the gate seems to be open all the time which makes it probably as secure as parking on the road if not even less.

Old style hotel which charm and charisma. I loved it for all its originality but I did think it was pricey for the room
Location, style, staff, breakfast, comfort. I hate modern hotels and this was like an Agatha Christie adventure. Staff were faultless, polite and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Room was a bit small for the price and very limited toiletries which were not replenished but I didn’t care as the rest of the hotel was excellent.
The lift. I was on the third floor and the lift was the old style barrier gates which I will never go into. Room was slightly small for the price and the toiletries were sparse and not replace for the second day. TV was poor and needs modernization but I was out most of the days so it was irrelevant. Limited parking outside which needed care to avoid car damage but again just be careful.
