  We had the most comfortable and happy stay. The Apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The view of the magnificent mountains and the most beautiful garden was breathtaking. Will definitely stay there again. Gael and John were so warm and welcoming and went out of there way to make our stay so memorable. Thank you.

  The moment your feet touch the paradise called Camberley Wines, you are welcomed by an angel sent from heaven named Geal. Just by looking at her smile, you know with absolute certainty that you have arrived in a paradise embraced by vineyards in every direction. There are beautiful places in this world, and then there are places that have a soul. Camberley Wines belongs to the second category. Every corner of this estate tells a story. Every stone, every piece of furniture, every wooden beam and every carefully chosen detail carries the elegance of time. Here, they don’t only age their wine… they age everything. Everything has character, history, and a timeless charm that makes you feel as though you’ve stepped into another era—one where beauty was never rushed. The views are breathtaking, the peace is indescribable, and waking up surrounded by vineyards with mountains standing proudly in the distance is an experience that words simply cannot do justice. A heartfelt thank you to John, whose passion for wine is impossible to miss. It quickly becomes clear that he didn’t build this place simply as accommodation; he opened his world so that guests could experience a lifelong passion and a craft he genuinely loves down to the smallest detail. That passion is reflected in everything around you. Thank you also to Xolelwa, who arrives every morning like a gentle breeze, knocking softly on your door to ensure your home is immaculate and that every little detail of your stay remains perfect. Her warmth, kindness and dedication never go unnoticed. And a special thank you to Julia. She modestly told us she had only four years of experience in the world of wine. Yet the moment you sit across from her at the wine tasting table, you immediately realize how humble she is. Her knowledge, confidence and storytelling make it feel as though she has spent well over fifteen years mastering the art of wine. She transforms every tasting into a memorable journey.

  What I didn’t like? That time, the human body, and the size of my stomach all have limits. Camberley Wines deserves more days, and far more bottles of wine than I was physically capable of enjoying.
