Rome cozy and comfortable!
The apartment is located in a beautiful historic building, and the host greets you personally upon arrival. The unit is clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the building has an elevator. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, featuring pleasant shops, bakeries, small restaurants, and cafés. The family-run restaurant across the street serves classic Italian cuisine and is a unique spot you simply must visit! The location is close to major tourist attractions and offers good connections to more distant destinations, though for those who enjoy walking, getting everywhere on foot is easy. The two bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and a single bed, while the living room includes a comfortable sofa, a dining table, and chairs. There is a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and bidet, as well as an additional separate toilet. The apartment is furnished and decorated in a vintage style—as shown in the photos—and is fully equipped with everything necessary, although some of the furniture shows signs of wear. The gas water heater requires a brief wait for the hot water to start flowing, but once it does, the supply is constant and unlimited; five of us were able to shower one after another without any issues. All rooms, except the kitchen, have functional air conditioning units with remote controls; the living room TV offers both broadcast channels and Smart TV features, and Wi-Fi is available. Check-in requires registration with an ID document and payment of a mandatory tourist tax in cash (which is included in the advertised final price). The price was good, and our stay was very, very pleasant!
The glass shower partition raises some concerns, it would also be a good idea to place a rubber mat at the bottom of the bathtub to prevent slipping while showering. Other points concern the replacement of heavily worn furniture and equipment, though that is a decision for the owner to make at some point. Having a washer-dryer would also be convenient. These are minor observations, and I would certainly stay here again—it was cozy and comfortable!
