  You can’t sum up what we experienced here - you need to live it. ❤️

  Starting from the host - Marilena was the best host we ever had. She picked us up from the train station, explained everything about Varenna, we even went for some grocery shopping in the square after picking us up. Then after we arrived to Camilla House, she patiently showed us every key aspect of the apartament. We were prepared that we would hear trains till 10pm and then in the morning - however the noise is not long and it can definitely be manageable. Definitely in the centre of Varenna you hear everything longer and louder. The view from the apartament is OUTSTANDING. Apartament is also really comfortable, clean, fantastically prepared for tourists. I honestly could not imagine a better place to be in Lake Como. Everyday she offered to drive us from the Centre to Camilla House. This combination makes us want to come back every single year here!!! Marilena, thanks once again for making this stay a true definition of beautiful vacation

  Beautiful view of the lake! And amazing swim spot very close by. The host really made our experience, she even picked us up from the train station and took us to varenna each morning. She was so kind and helpful explaining all the good spots in varenna. I would recommend everyone booking the camilla house.

  Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au lac de Côme. L’hôte est accueillante, sympathique et disponible. Elle nous a très bien renseignés sur les activités et les lieux à découvrir aux alentours. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié qu’elle mette son garage à notre disposition à Varenna, ce qui est un vrai plus. L’appartement est joli, propre et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. La vue sur le lac est magnifique et l’emplacement est idéal, aux portes de Varenna ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et l’accueil de notre hôte.

  Le seul point négatif est le train qui passe juste en dessous de l’appartement. Il est très bruyant et donne parfois l’impression de passer directement dans l’appartement. Les premiers trains commencent très tôt, vers 6h30, et il y en a encore tard le soir, jusqu’à environ 23h30. Pour nous, cela a malheureusement rendu les nuits assez courtes
