bad bad bad
Good location, nice building. The lac is beautiful.
The hotel "decided" to allow / organize a party while we were guests, trying to enjoy the calm of Lake Maggiore, without transparency, offer to cancel and relocate us. We were just informed few days before our arriving that the restaurant would not be available - nobody informed us our room would be 5 meters away from a dance party. This is bad management.

I think the hotel is punching slightly above its weight
Location is great with beautiful views of the lake and mountains and convenient for local shops and restaurants. The breakfast was good with a good selection and variety from the buffet but you also have an option to order from the menu which is included in the price.
On arrival we waited for 5 minutes at the gate as no answer was received when ringing the bell for the barrier to raise for the car park? My wife then walked to the hotel to find an empty reception and had to wander around the hotel before finding a member of staff to explain the situation. After being, quite abruptly told to return the car and the barrier would be raised, we waited another five minutes! This resulted in us having to use the car horn to gain attention before someone finally came to our assistance and open the gate. Hardly the Camin Hotel reception we had expected. Also the room was clean with a good bathroom and excellent shower and great views but very small. The door actually scraped the bed on entering and then collided with the wardrobe so entering with luggage was very difficult. Moving around the room was very “tactical” and no attempt has been made for soundproofing as other guests in the corridor sound as though they are in your room!
