Fair location, great views but sadly lacking in TLC.
The lady that met us on arrival was pleasant and gave us a breif introduction to the property. Before arrival there was very little communication about anything at all. Entering the apartment we were met with an awful smell of damp and old wood. We opened all the windows and went to the supermarket to buy an air freshener. This helped. The property overall is in dire need of an upgrade. Seals around both showers are worn and very tired and dirty looking. The shower cubicles have definitely seen better days. The wall in the en suite bedroom is full of holes where the hanging shelf is situated. Bed linen and pillows were worn. The kitchen needs upgrading along with a good clean. The property location is reasonable, although there is a good walk to the main centre and port. There are a couple of nearby restaurants a short walk away and the beach is about 5 minutes walk down the track in front of the porperty. Overall, this property could be excellent with an upgrade, but compared to one we had stayed in the previous night for the same price it was actually quite disappointing.
I was quite disappointed on entering this apartment, mainly because of the smell, but on further inspection it became apparent that cleaning was lacking here. Several of the drawers in the kitchen had remnants of food and spills, the bathrooms are old and need completely new seals around the bath and shower, the TV in the living room is not a smart TV so we were unable to watch anything in our own language, The location is noisy being right on the main road and the dogs next door at times were very noisy.
