  Es coqueto y tiene buena ubicación.

  Es coqueto y está bien situado para caminar, aunque primero hay que llegar con la maleta 😅. Un detalle el paraguas y la sombrilla disponibles, nos fueron útiles en septiembre.

  Cuidado con los escalones del suelo del apartamento del bajo. Una repisa o balda en la ducha para apoyar los productos de baño no le vendría mal.

  Sleepless in Cefalu

  Near the duomo at the edge of town, away from crowd in highest part of Cefalu. Note its a hike to get there and cars can’t go there.

  The room had only a small window that opened to the street at ground level and there was no air in the room which was very stuffy. The bedding was awful. Combined made for 2 sleepless nights.

  Having stayed in 4 other top floor apartments in the old town on previous visits to cefalu I was keen to find ground floor accommodation due to hip issue, and reduced street noise. It's still a climb, but worth it as very quiet. Apartment has been thoughtfully refurbished and recently rewired with more sockets than average in cefalu and floor lighting where there's a step up change in level to bathroom. Kitchenette is more than adequate for solo traveller and -hurrah- an electric kettle and new microwave which I haven't had elsewhere. Host shows great attention to detail including sending a video that walks you up the piazza duomo right to the front door. Have already booked same studio for spring 2026.

  If you want a balcony or a sea view this studio/location is not for you (I chose it for convenience, ground floor and very competitive price.)

  Tolle Lage hinter dem Dom, trotzdem ruhig, am Felsen, stimmungsvolle Terrasse, Waschmaschine, gutes Bett

  Enges steiles Treppenhaus, Waschbecken und Dusche im Schlafzimmer, keine moderne Espressomaschine, beengt, wenig Interesse an Gästen
