  Great place to stay in Pinhao!

  I’ve never had such a thoughtful host leave breakfast foods and have a baker deliver fresh bread in the morning! She left me eggs, cheese, ham, milk, juice, water, coffee, yogurt, jam, bread, wine and a beer…The apartment was exactly as described and pictured, quite a lot of room for a family or two couples. I did not catch a daytime photo of the view from the balcony, but it’s gorgeous over the river and looking up the tiered vineyard hill. This location is right in town, you can walk to several vineyards, restaurants, boats and the train station, but zero noise. So many thoughtful touches such as universal adapters, water, groceries, plenty of coffee pods. The bed was very comfy, great pillows, good lighting in bathrooms, WiFi is fast. Entry was very easy and well described, the staircase was wider than any I’ve had to negotiate in Portugal so far. Even a little bit of bathroom counter space! A rarity.

  Great apartment. Perfect for our short stay in Douro.

  The map kept showing the apartment down the street from its actual location so it was a bit tricky to find it at first.

  Beautiful apartment with stunning views and excellent facilities in the heart of the Douro Valley

  Amazing amazing amazing! From the minute we entered the apartment we fell in love with the apartment itself and the view. Two large bedrooms. Fantastic large mattresses. Super clean and crisp bedding. Great AC even in the kitchen! Modern bathrooms. Great hot water. Lovely kitchen fully kitted out with all utensils crockery and cutlery to cook at home. Host kindly provided fresh bread and yoghurt and eggs as well as fresh charcuterie board and wine on arrival. Wi fi excellent. Satellite TV. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Pinhao is a cute little town in the Douro. Village has a supermarket, few shops and restaurants (only take cash). Host was super responsive. Nothing was too much trouble. We will really miss this place. We looked after it like our own as we really enjoyed the stay.

  Absolutely nothing!!! Would happily return.

  Stunning view. Fresh bread and bottle of wine and beer on arrival. AC during 40 C degrees weather was much appreciated.

  A stunning 2 bedroom apartment. Would be ideal for 2 couples . Decor is just gorgeous

  Beautiful property. Ideally located in Pinhau. Host was so welcoming and fridge was stocked for our breakfast. Fresh bread was delivered at 8:30 am. Lovely having a washing machine to catch up on some laundry. Apartment was well stocked with good quality glasses , crockery & cutlery. Ideal for 2 couples as each bedroom has its own bathroom.
