    Nature Retreat

    Peaceful location. Simplicity in nature with a lovely hammock and view. Close to main road but away from traffic noise.

    Lovely stay in mountainous region !

    We absolutely loved our stay in Canto del Rio. The first impression we had upon arrival, was the exceptional view of the mountains and the pleasant feeling of peace and tranquility. The location is great since it's located near the town of Rivas which allows easy access to stores and is around 8km from the Chirripó National Park and other beautiful hiking places. We also appreciated the good internet connection despite being in a rural area.

    We enjoyed everything, it is however worth taking into consideration that if you come in a vehicle, a 4x4 would be the better option, as part of the entrance to the property is a bit steep.
