Comfortable, Caring & Convenient
We found Hermann, MO listed in an article that covered the "best Christmas town" in each state. Hermann is a cute town. Not sure if the decorations / lights are the best, but there's good shopping that we enjoyed, and it is a cute town. Our stay at the Captain Wohlt Inn was very nice. We were give one of the best, most personal welcomes that we've ever received. Brant spent time explaining the lay of the land, pointing out good shopping, restaurants of different types, and other destinations / tips for the area. Very thorough, very kind. The room was great. It was a bitter cold weekend and the heat was cranking! The bed was very comfortable, and we were able to get a room with a separate living area so that I could get up a couple hours before my wife and not bother her- big win there. Complementary coffee, water, and a daily cookie were nice touches. Feeding the rabbits around the fire pit sounded like a lot of fun, but it was just a little too cold and windy for our tastes... we'll have to come back again in better weather for that! I highly recommend the Captain Wohlt Inn. They will take care of you!
