    Comfortable stay, in a good location, but missing those finishing touches..

    The main house was very nicely laid out - kitchen, lounge, upstairs bedroom with ensuite. The bed was comfy, the walk in area was nice and clean and the towels were a good size. The secondary dwelling (which we did not use had 3 beds and a bathroom, and looked nicely laid out. This was reached through an undercover walk way from the main kitchen.

    On arriving at the property, in the dark and rain, we found the address on the digital welcome book was wrong (number 5 instead of 65), plus not outside lights had been left on to make it easier - small things but annoying, and not ones i have had at other stays in the area. Inside the house was nice and comfy, however there was no cooking oil, cheap toilet rolls (which we replaced), and on Tuesday the pool pump was being fixed for three hours, whilst we were trying to do work calls - sadly the agent did not bother to let us know of this. There is also no place here to work except the kitchen bench ... which is fine for short stints... but not good for a whole day Worth noting the secondary dwelling is great for teenagers or extended family, but not suitable if you have young children, given the distance from the main bedroom.. lastly there was no real place to sunbathe - many people who travel to the region want the sun - the outdoor area is not designed to take advantage of this.

    Highly recommend - Will stay again if we return to Cairns.

    Quiet and private with great plunge pool. Very comfortable bedding with aircon keeping us cool in the heat and humidity.

    We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless, very comfortable, and beautifully located in a quiet area just a short 5-minute walk from the sea. The property itself is truly lovely – especially the pool, which we enjoyed every day. Communication with our host was excellent, quick and very friendly. We were also incredibly grateful for the late check-out, which made our travel day so much easier. Highly recommended – thank you for everything!
