    How unusual it was and the location was perfect

    The single beds a little hard but for a couple of nights its fine. May a revamp of windows, there was lots of condensation in there. But we still enjoyed it.

    A memorable stay in an unusual place, hope to come back some day.

    We liked the quirkiness of the railway carriage, the setting next to a woodland, having breakfast outside, the well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, the whirlpool bath, peaceful setting, the good pub very near. The double bed was comfortable.

    Some of the windows don’t close completely so might be a problem in cold weather. No extractor fan in the bathroom. The grandchildren said they could feel the springs in the single beds. One of the chairs outside was broken, could have caused a fall if a heavier person than a 12 year old had sat on it.

    Quirky railway carriage

    The quirky carriage we stayed in was great - even had a whirlpool bath! Julia was lovely, very friendly and welcoming. The area is great, near the banks of the river Severn, close to a great pub and within walking distance to Ironbridge.

    Everything we needed was provided but perhaps some things were a little dated.

    Have already discussed group booking for next year

    Owners are super nice, very informative of property and local history, attractions and amenities.

    Nothing to dislike and property refurbs are in progress.
