We really enjoyed our stay in this grand heritage hotel and would visit again.
We loved the old-world grandeur and decor of this beautiful building. Our room was lovely and quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the renovated bathroom and shower, and the quiet air con. The hotel is very conveniently situated at the top of the main street with its own secure parking. Beautiful grounds and gardens too. All the staff were very efficient and helpful. Our meals in the Grand Dining Room were just superb. It was really good to have several on-site dining options too.
Whilst the food was delicious it took a really long time to come out to us! At least half hour for entree and then about an hour for the main. The wait staff were great - there were only two and they were run off their feet. Of course the building is very old obviously, but the last renovation is really showing its age in places now. Many areas need repair or repainting and perhaps a thorough clean. Eg behind doors and shower tiles, timber window frames etc.

Our room and the vibe and location of the hotel was lovely. Exceeded expectations!
Room was lovely, front desk service very nice.
Very little ventilation on the room, tried to open a window and a cockatoo came in! That was the end of that!

Great place to stay. Great bar an location perfect
Lovely old world charm. Great location. EV charging in garage was great because none in Katoomba! Staff and facilities were great.
Was actually almost too warm inside! Everything else was perfect
