  It was very comfortable. It felt like we were staying at a local family's guest house. Also it was walking distance to many places and amazing restaurants.

  Unfortunately, the worst stay I have had in Portugal!

  The beds were comfortable.

  Unfortunately, this was by far the worst accommodation experience I have had in Portugal, despite having stayed in many places throughout the country over the years. The experience already started poorly. We were unable to obtain the information needed to access the property without contacting the owner/host directly. I am personally not comfortable with this kind of arrangement and would much prefer access instructions to be provided through Booking.com, particularly for privacy reasons. The kitchen was in a very poor condition. The cookware, utensils and other kitchen equipment were dirty, damp and had an unpleasant smell. Before we could use anything, we first had to wash everything ourselves. The knives were extremely dull, the wooden cooking utensils were badly burned, and the plastic cutting board looked like it should have been replaced a long time ago. More seriously, we experienced electric shocks when touching the sink and kitchen counter while barefoot. This is not merely an inconvenience but, in my opinion, a serious electrical safety concern that should be investigated immediately. The air conditioning was also not functioning, and the area surrounding the house was extremely messy, with debris and general clutter around the property. On top of this, we found the atmosphere in the surrounding area unpleasant and experienced people as impatient and inconsiderate, which did not make us feel particularly welcome. Overall, the combination of poor cleanliness, badly maintained kitchen equipment, non-functioning air conditioning, the condition of the surroundings and, most importantly, the electrical safety issue made this an extremely disappointing stay. Sadly, this was the worst accommodation experience I have had anywhere in Portugal so far, and I cannot recommend this property in its current condition.

  FATAL. No repetiría

  Lo único a destacar seria la ubicación, pero teniendo en cuenta que es un pueblo pequeño creo que cualquier otro alojamiento también hubiera estado bien ubicado.

  Reservamos sólo para una noche ya que estábamos de transito a otro destino (Agosto). El alojamiento se anuncia con aire acondicionado. El dia anterior a nuestra llegada el anfitrión contacta conmigo para decirme que el aire no funciona. Al preguntarle por posibles soluciones comenta que al dia siguiente vendrían unos técnicos a revisarlo y que no me preocupe que la casa es de piedra. Cuando llegamos a la casa le envio un mensaje para saber si ya funciona el aire y nunca me llega a responder a ese mensaje. La casa tiene dos aparatos de aire acondicionado aparentemente independientes, uno en la zona de salón y otro en la habitación. Por el aspecto de ambos, llevan mucho tiempo sin funcionar. Casualidad que ambos se averíen a la vez.... En resumen la casa NO TIENE AIRE ACONDICIONADO. Tampoco el anfitrión nos proporcionó ninguna solución alternativa como ventiladores o la posibilidad de cambiar de casa.... Con 30 grados en el exterior fue absolutamente imposible dormir. Por otro lado, la casa tiene accesibilidad nula. No recomendable para ir con niños ni personas de movilidad reducida. La habitación está a pie de calle, la cocina en la planta baja y la habitación y el baño en la planta menos dos. Para ir al baño desde la habitación hay que bajar dos pisos. Además tiene diferentes alturas en el salón por lo que no es nada segura con niños pequeños. Lo mas indignate es que al comentarle al anfitrión por escrito nuestro malestar por la falta de aire acondicionado, su respuesta fue "Gracias y buen viaje". No recomiendo el alojamiento ni siquiera para una noche.

  A una hora de entrar en el apartamento, Paulo, la persona que dice gestionar la casa en nombre de Belmonte,me dice que esta estropeado el aire acondicionado( esto con ola de calor de Portugal y 39 grados). En los días siguientes me comenta que esta a la espera de que el técnico le diga algo para solucionar el problema del aire( cosa que es mentira ya que la maquina esta totalmente estropeada desde hace mucho y los comentarios de anteriores huéspedes asi lo demuestran), No lo recomiendo para nada este apartamento, y booking.com debería de sancionar-amonestar a casas que no cumplan con los servicios que dicen ofrecer.
