MAGIC IN EVERY WAY. Eleni made our stay in Chania extra special.
Eleni (our host) was soooooo wonderful with her clear and helpful communications, the warmest of welcomes (extremely generous with her time and hospitality) and her fabulous recommendations. She shared excellent local knowledge - Stavros Beach was gorgeous, car parking was nearby and convenient and cafes/restaurants eg The Botanists (right next door) for scrumptious breakfast and relaxing afternoon drinks and nibbles + Tamam was especially delicious for dinner (we went 2/3 nights). Book so you don’t miss out. The apartment is really quality accommodation with so many special, unexpected and beautiful touches in addition to the really tasteful décor. Everything that Eleni & her husband have done in the preparation and maintenance of the apartment shows their commitment to offering a very high standard. Location is perfect for wandering and enjoying the old city. Extremely grateful for our magical time in Chania at Casa al Bocca del Porto THANK YOU ELENI 🤩🤩
Nothing to dislike! Could definitely have stayed longer. 3 nights were not enough.

My wife and I had a great 5 night stay in the 1 bedroom, one bathroom masonette at Casa al Bocca del Porto during September 2026. Before our arrival, the very helpful hostess, Eleni, provided us with the key safe number, but also called with us within a few minutes of us arriving. The building has been beautifully restored, with a lot of charm, both inside and out. It is spottlessly clean and well maintained. It's also in a great location, right on the fringe of the Old Town. It basically provides everything you'll need to enjoy your stay in Chania. There is a small balcony with furniture off the bedroom and a small table and chair set to the side off the front door, for your exclusive use. I would have no hesitation recommending this property to future guests.
There are a few issues which, in my opinion, may cause concern for people with mobility issues: I. The staircase is steep with a return and no handrail. 2. The only shower/toilet is off the upstairs bedroom. 3. The balcony is accessed via the bedroom window/door, which has a pretty high step either side.

Beautiful old building with modern facilties
Close to everything you might be looking for in Chania Characterful old building but modernised and looking very clean and pristine Patio on top floor which acts as a great hangout space Excellent beds and nice shower, facilities were excellent
