Stunning - we loved it!
The flat is in a lovely position right by a bridge over the canal. It’s a very quiet area - all we could hear was the occasional sound of distant church bells, tourists pausing to take a photo on the bridge and the swish of a boat going by on the canal. The flat itself is on the ground floor and is beautifully renovated with a mix of classical and modern decor. There’s a small, well equipped kitchen, and two lovely bathrooms, one ensuite. It was in the perfect location for us to explore Venice but also retreat from the crowds when the day was done. There are local shops and bars in the area around the flat, and it’s a short walk from the grand canal and all the bustle of the main tourist areas. We didn’t need heating as it was still warm when we went (in October) but we could see that there were radiators if needed. The flat was also generous with things like coffee pods, loo roll and shower gels, which really helps when you land in a place and don’t know where to buy basics like this. Ilaria, who is the contact in Venice, was exceptionally helpful and kind, so a huge thank you, especially to her. I would highly recommend this flat as the perfect base from which to get to know Venice, and would love to stay again.
The only small thing was the second bedroom, which was more of a little corridor between the living room and the main bedroom, separated from the corridor by a curtain. This would be absolutely fine for kids (my daughter was ok there) but not for another couple staying in the flat together.

Il bagno in camera senza finestra né aerazione, altro servizio praticamente senza finestra, pulizia migliorabile, assenza di armadi utilizzabili
