    Not worth the money. Bad check-in experience.

    Location. Old Palermo vibe.

    I’m an avid traveller having visited around 50 locations in the past 4 years. This was the worst check-in experiencing in my life. I indicated my arrival time, and the hosts were supposed to meet me at the apartment. However, my flight was delayed, and the passport control took almost 2 hours. I informed the hosts about this but they kept messaging me to come asap (as if this was my fault). On arrival, they started demanding in a hostile manner 20 euros from me because they were waiting for me for several hours. I told them this was not specified in the booking. If you don’t want to wait for guests, put a lockbox for contactless check-in. That’s what most people do. The apartment itself is very old. The kettle was not working, I had to use a saucepan to boil water. The shower almost exploded when I turned it on. There is not Wi Fi. The check-out time is 9:30 am. Why not 6?! 🤦‍♂️

    La casa è molto piccola e scomoda, senza ascensore. La cucina e il bagno sono nello stesso spazio, il che non è né igienico né sicuro. Il quartiere in cui si trova è molto sporco, con le strade sempre ingombre di rifiuti e sacchetti ovunque. Ci sono persone che vivono sui marciapiedi, e l'odore è nauseante. Bisogna vederlo per crederci.
