    Los anfitriones son muy hospitalarios. La terraza tiene unas vistas magníficas del lago y está lleno de árboles.

    Deberían poner cortinas en la habitación porque entra mucha luz y te despiertas.

    Great base for exploring the area

    If you’re hesitating between Flores and El Remate, I’d say go here. The whole vibe of the town just feels down to earth and welcoming. Also prices are way better than Flores. It’s a 40 min public bus to Tikal (35Q) and a 30 min bus to Flores (30Q). It ended up being quite convenient. Wave down any bus with the name of your destination on it. They come frequently. The room itself was very large and clean with a comfortable bed and gorgeous view.

    Be ready to walk 5 minutes up and down the hill in the heat to get to/from the main road. Be aware that public busses don’t run at night. We had to pay 350Q for a taxi from the airport. Crazy that it costs more than a night at the hotel.
