    We loved waking up to a chorus of birds in the orange grove that is all around Casa Amarilla! This is a peaceful, well equipped, very compact modular unit with a big patio area that looks out over orange groves and hills. We used it as a base for exploring beautiful hillside towns and hiking in the hills near Monchique. Downtown Silves is very close by car but we enjoyed our place so much we had two dinners 'at home' on the patio. Our host, Denise, had excellent recommendations for adventures and restaurants. This is not a 'cookie cutter' accommodation! We are so glad we stayed here.
