    accommodation issues

    Good location for getting around the island. This was the main reason we chose this accommodation.

    Our experience was quite negative. From the very first day, we encountered several problems with the property: various maintenance issues, a bathroom window with a broken support, dampness, and, most importantly, a refrigerator that was not working properly and caused some of the food we had bought for our stay to spoil. However, the most concerning issue was the pest problem. On the very day we arrived, the property manager informed us that a mouse/rodent had entered the property and assured us that the problem had already been resolved. We trusted her and decided to continue with our stay, as our entire trip had already been organised. Two days later, during the night, we saw a rodent again inside the property, in the hallway leading directly to the bedrooms, and earlier that same day we had also found a cockroach. At that point, we understandably no longer felt safe staying there. That night, we had to sleep in the living room. Eventually, the property manager relocated us to another independent property nearby and covered the cost, so we were able to continue the rest of our holiday there. We appreciate that she eventually provided us with an alternative, and the new accommodation was suitable for the remainder of our stay. Before leaving the original property, the manager gave us €120 in cash as compensation for the distress and the day we lost. However, this did not cover the additional expenses caused by the situation: part of the groceries we had originally purchased was lost due to the refrigerator problem, and after moving to the new property we had to buy food and basic supplies again. We also had to change the plans we had organised for that day. One additional detail that we found disappointing is that, after relocating us, the property manager never contacted us again to ask whether we were okay or whether everything was fine in the new accommodation.

    The apartment was very clean, cozy and well-equipped. It was truly a comfortable stay. Good and friendly communication with the hosts. I sincerely recommend :)
